it was the end of summer

at Kajaani
the flowers in the garden were pretty
the day was already getting shorter

i filled my bucket with berries

i felt so good,
it was so beautiful there

the storm passed by
and i was riding my bike

i liked this route better
though it would be a shorter way

to cycle through the town

in a meadow

there was no rush at all

so i sat down,
enjoyed my coffee
and relaxed

though I liked the quietness
and it was beautiful there

there was frost at night
and new ice was formed

in warm sunlight
the new ice was expanding
and the sounds it made
were magnificent

it feels like april
and i'm asking for frost and snow

it was good to walk there
and i really wasn't alone

today
i didn't dare to go

the view is very different

white lake

sensing
all that
whiteness
around me

after a long darkness

that day was too bright to hide the secrets
