old ones are strong and pretty

there was frost at night
and new ice was formed

i didn't dare to go

first snow

yesterday
there was sleet, and
bicycling was no fun at all.

today
the sleet was frozen.
i left my bike home and
enjoyed the whiteness.

The light is a definite sign of spring! 

White mounds of snow are turning to grey. 

For a short while the roads are in a terrible state. Soft and tricky in sunlight and freezing again in the evening.

But to see green grass, I think, I'll need to have a few cups of coffee and wait.
